The Goldman vineyard is planted adjacent to the tasting room at Keuka Lake Vineyards. In 2009, the riesling fruit was handpicked on a cloudy day by a dedicated group of family and friends.
The juice was fermented cool in a stainless steel milk tank that we call Norton. The finished wine required no fining and was naturally stabilized in the cold winter cellar. Stone fruit aromatics with a rich mineral flavor are enduring characteristics of our Goldman Vineyard Riesling. Presents an elegant flavor with a dry, lasting finish.

“I give the edge to the Goldman Vineyard bottling, for its extra precision and enticing jasmine note, though the Falling Man Vineyard and Evergreen Lek Vineyard bottlings are also very good. The winery debuted in 2005 and merits keeping an eye on.”
